Here is an extremely rare, 1890's, 32 page, Rookwood Pottery, company information booklet complete with photographs, artists and their marks and glaze lines, etc... I am a Rookwood collector. I have had this in my collection for 20 years and decided to accept offers at this time. It seems these may only come to the market every decade or so.
It is held firmly together by 2 staples that show no rust. The applied, outer cover wraps around to cover the staples.
It is in AMAZING condition with nothing much to complain about except a little split to the top corner and a few tiny nibbles. The split is shown in the last photo. The graphics are very crisp with no fading. The pages show no marking or writing are are not stained and I find no foxing (spotting).
This item is an 8.5 - 9 out of 10 due to its rarity and superb condition.
I an adding a rare, early, folded, highly detailed, full page magazine ad from "The Mail And Express Illustrated Saturday Magazine" from 1898! It can be read by zooming on my ph I to. It is in very nice condition as shown in the second to the last photo. Buy with confidence!
