Oil filter used on 4 stroke portable Suzuki outboard models.
Oil filters and engine oil should be inspected and replaced regularly. Recommended replacement intervals are every 100 hours for engine oil and every 200 hours for oil filters. A bad oil filter can cause failures in the oil system such as low oil pressure and bad/dirty oil can cause your outboard to overheat. Bad oil can fail to properly lubricate your engine causing major problems such as seizing, overheating, and grinding gears.
