Vtg 1940s 1950s Short Set - Bandeau & High Waist Short - Rare SW Hacienda Fabric

Description

This is a fantastic set of SW Hacienda wear. Extremely hard to come by.
Originally popular to wear to the dude ranches of the SW when on vacation.
This set has shorts with the high waist band common in the late 1940's - early 1950's.
There is a 7" long metal zipper down the back, with a button on the waist band.
The legs are wide with a unique block, V cut out, block, V cut out, etc on the hem. See photo.
There are 2 invisible side pockets.
The bandeau is very well made.
There are stays on each side and 2 - 5 1/2" high stays coming up to the bust.
It buttons in back. It is fully lined and has black piping at the top edge.
There is a Joan Roberts California, A California Creation label on both pieces.
Both pieces are in excellent vintage condition.
The bandeau has a few tiny brown spots in back on the lining. See photo.
The shorts have a gray spot near the waist band in back on the right side and
3 very light water marks on the left side in back. See photo.
There are other very tiny things consistent with used vintage clothing.

I estimate this to be a size small, size 4-6.
